A break in the clouds.

Saw some nice clouds so I headed to this spot to take some landscapes. It was really windy and a huge cloud blew across and rained on me a little. My filters and lens quickly got covered in droplets and sea mist so not so clear and the spot removal tool took care of the larger droplets.

also i am jealous of the colour of the ocean on the last shot!! is that really what it looks like?

Thanks. It was an 80 second exposure for the fist pic and yes that is what it looks like, even better on a sunny day. Try googling "godrevy" or "st ives"!

#1 is definitely my favorite. Love the mood the clouds give with their movement.

As for #2 and #3, nothing wrong with them as they are nice photo's however they don't evoke the same kind of emotion as #1.

Pic 2 just grabbed my attention. An outstanding composition. Great use of controlled color. One really gets the sense of a passing storm.
