On public demand.... no, on LaDes ... errm, LaFoto's demand ... and still in time (120 minutes, see the other calendar thread ;))

Here is my second calendar for next year :) . This time Ancient Egypt is the theme. I decided to leave out anything historical or even modern which is less than 2000 years old, since that would be a theme by itself ;)

Should be in print this week.
The images here are just screenshot, so the quality is rather poor.

I am in awe!
The recipients of these Christmas presents are VERY lucky! (And you are lucky to ever have been to Egypt. I haven't...)

Wow..they look pretty amazing to me:thumbup:
I wish i had your skills.

It's depressing to see such neglect.

Awesome shots though!

Wonderful series of shots, Alex! Good work bringing out details of the carvings on the columns. And I agree with Lafoto....lucky you to have gone there to see this.

Thanks all :)

Corinna, I guess you will have a chance for Egypt one day :)

It's depressing to see such neglect.

Actually, no neglect the last few decades. These temples and all are taken a lot of care of. Don't worry.

Awesome shots though!

Thanks :)

Beautiful work as always Alex. Nice selection :)

By the way, this calender is 100% shot on film! (Velvia 100 F)...

Egypt is a wonderful country.
I was lucky enough to go to Egypt, but then the photography was not my hobby, Do It hurts!
I liked your photos.

Greetings from Spain.

Thanks :)

Was not easy on some of them to keep the tourists off :p

Do you EVER take a bad photograph Alex?
Really stunning and more so because you used film and managed to avoid 'the tourist'. Keep 'em coming.
