I think I'm starting to see like Bitter.....

I struggled with the cropping on this one. I wanted to get rid of the blown face towards the left. This is what I've come up with so far and then the original. Thoughts on the cropping?

I don't care for the black void myself.
There's potential, with some more subtle light, perhaps?


I think if I had these, I would discard the right half on each.
I think the second would be particularly nice cropped. Nice textures in these.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually was leaning to the right because of the blown face on the left. Maybe not. I'll take another look at that. I'll also play with the curves a little more to lighten the shadow back up and try and keep some fo the contrast/definition. But for now... it's off to work.

It's not blown. If it were, it would be as white as the forum. It lacks detail, but I don't think thats a bad thing here at all.
