Went out to the trinity park to shot my buddy's car and just wanted to share with the family. C&C If you wanna, emotional attachment to my daughter but you can still C&C, I won't take it to heart.

1. Surprised I captured her playing in the leaves.

Cute shot of the girl. Be warned. The naysayers are gonna go off on you for angling your picture. :)

Haha yeah I know...but I like it..sometimes I think that it is okay...rules are meant to be broken right? Thanks for the comment.

I like the angling actually. Gives it a playfull look, which goes with the subject.
For me, a bit to much space on the top.....maybe a bit of a tighter crop ?

I like the angle. I think it works. I use angles in my compositions periodically and in the right circumstances I think it really works. People who have their cameras locked on 90 axis are too limited in their thinking.

But I get harassed about it all the time. :)

Yeah I will try a tighter crop, I thought about it but just kinda left it was it was. I love different angles and will try them all the time...If I like them then they were worth the effort!!! I don't mind getting harassed, I have a wife that does it a lot haha.
Thanks for the comments tho, anything to make them better?

I'm not a big people shooter so I can't comment too much. They seemed fine to me, not amazing. (well, I liked the first one as I said... the tree in the back bugs me a little... would be nice if the whole shot were leaves and then the girl)

The last one strikes me as you cut him off a bit at the knees and feels unnatural to me. I want to shift the frame down and zoom in.

But those are just reactions... again, take 'em for what they're worth- not much. :)

Last one is a self shot?

Pretty good if so!

I don't really like the way the car is angled in the second picture. I know it has to do with the road surface, but I like my cars, especially coupes and the like, to be on level pavement. I fell prey to this on Thurday. The road I was parked on was angled sharply and all my photos came out looking funky.

Okay, so I cropped the picture, what do you think. And I understand about the unlevel terrain, I'll keep that in mind next time. The Third picture is the owner of the car, just didn't think about the feet til I uploaded, doh.

Here is the cropped version on my daughter.

Finally!!!! I really like them Blue!
The girl who tried to tell me take pics in shutter mode(from that party a while back) basically her whole website is angled pics...
cute subject, nice pics of car...I like! good job!
how old is she? she looks like she might be my kids age :)

Thanks Newbie, she is 2 and a half. Pretty much impossible to get a goot picture of her unless you take 50 of them haha. Got this on the second shot. Good to see you commenting!!! :)

The one of your daughter is precious. I love the pop of blue against the brown of the leaves. I have a granddaughter who is 5 and I've followed that child around so much, taking her picture, if she see a camera aimed her way she stops and poses. Makes getting candid shots really difficult. :) As for the car pictures, well I'm not a car person, but to me the first is a bit dull, nothing stands out and as for the second it's an ok picture of your friend, but the car is sort of just "there". It might look better if you cropped it about mid thigh and them cropped off just a bit off the top of picture to balance it out. Just a thought. It's all just a matter of opinion.

The cropped version is much better in my opinion. :)
