A couple of weird self portraits =P

A couple of goofy self portraits. I must admit I stole the idea of using my phone from a guy who posted his picture in "The Guys of TPF" thread. I feel a little guilty about that, but I need an avatar that isn't some cartoon fairy.

So here's my take on it. I apologize for the crappy quality, but I used facebook because I've personally banner Flikr and I'm not putting these on my website lol.

Any C&C is appreciated.

The big eye is a little creepy, that's all I have to say about that. :sillysmi:

#2 is cute, but I don't think you should have cut part of yourself out of it and had empty space on the right. It makes it look like you did it on accident.

I would avoid the bare pits. Also the tight fitting top... because the underwires are distinguishable quite easily. Try cupping the ipod slightly so that the edge of your hands are seen rather than the flat palms.

LOL. I did cut myself out of it by accident, but I thought I might draw in a halo top right so I kept the empty space. You're right though, I should crop it as it is.

You mentioned the 2 things I was a little worried about haha, I haven't gotten a chance to clone out my underwire yet. Great idea to change the way my hands are holding the phone =)

They're both odd and interesting! In #2, it took me a while to notice the phone, I think your eyes pointed me away from it. And without the phone image, you don't get the idea behind the picture.

Thanks =) Perhaps it's my eyes and all that empty space... I think I will crop it, that way the phone's image is bigger, and hopefully more noticeable.
