Your dad looks like a cool guy.

Sounds like my dad. My dad taught me everything I know also. But about horses, not photography. He passed away four years ago and the hole in my heart has yet to heal. I envy you, Dude. You stll have your dad.

Thats terrible man. but I never know how long i have so i try to visit as often as possible. because i know one day he'll be gone and i want to make sure I have as many memories as possible. I dont think that hole you speak of is meant to go away it needs to be there to remind us all of whats important.

I wasn't as good a son as I should've been. Made him go through some bad times. All those years I spent in prison were harder on him than on me, I think.

He does look like a cool guy...lol, like my kind of people ;) Nice shooting!

Man I did the same **** I went away for 2 years and he cried like a baby and begged the judge to let me go, never seen him like that. I got in a fist fight with him and robbed his house because I was an addict. But he always forgave me i guess he figured the time it would take to hold a grudge would be a great waste plus i turned into a pretty great guy and i know he sees that. I guess what i'm trying to say is regardless of how we think our parents feel about us, a parents love for their child is stronger than any other love in the world. you're a part of him and any flaws you may have are just as much a part that bond as anything else.
