I kinda like the red BG, makes it interesting and different. Nicely done.

Nice. I think it is better with this background as you may loose some detail with a blacks background.

Thanks for the good feedabck. I was quite surprised the wind had not yet sent any of those little seedlings on their way, so I picked it, brought it carefully into the house and photographed it.
