It was at this point our local Kingfisher decided to set off the alarm bells and darn near scare everything (including me since he was on a branch above my head. [check shorts ]) so it was pretty tough to get close enough for a shot.
Solution? Wade into the swamp grass. Yes now I have swampy cloths to launder.

After all the rain here, the mushrooms sprang to life in many different colors last week. I took pics, but managed other pics I liked better so they got relegated to the recycle bin. One thing that has happened since I joined this great forum is the number of files I used to keep has dwindled much

Yes I shoot an average of 500 shots when I go out and maybe keep 5-10.
