I like it (well the oddity of it at least) . A subject such as her would be very fun and interesting to shoot.

my only nit pick is that the sash is a little blown out to where I can not read what is there.

I was sooooo not a fan of that sash. I tried playing with curves and stuff but the white on light blue was giving me issues. Lol. She was super fun to shoot, as were her pageant-mates. I got to do the meet and greet shoot with Michelle Visage after, she is a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race and was a VH1 VJ for a while. It was an interesting night...

Possibly add either rim and/or hair light. Also, skin tone is a bit too yellow for for my preference, but that's just personal taste. =)

Yup. I shoot for the local gay club and they had a beauty pageant.

Vtec44 - I would have loved a hair light, but I do not have that type of set up. All I have is my SB-600 and the camera. For this I used a Gary Fong cloud diffuser
