Did you think of shooting so you could see farther down the road behind her? This would eliminate the distracting bushes directly behind her. Depending on the road, a shot of her farther back with the road leading the eye into the frame to where she would be sitting could have made a nice composition.
There is a severe problem with the lighting on this, in the first you have not overpowered the sun enough to get rid of the shadow that comes down over her face to just below her eyes giving her an angry mask. More light is needed which would also add a bit of color back into the sky but would still keep the highlihgt on the right side (an effect I suspect you wanted in the shot). It takes a powerful light source to get that kind of light during the day. It's also tough to really see the focus when shooting into the light like this, but it looks like her eyes are just out of focus in these. Something to be aware of on the next shoot.
