A face in the crowd - for Pixmedic

im not really a fan of B&W in general...
there's something about the facial expression of (a) person .......that really gets to me. i don't know what it is, but i am fascinated by it. i REALLY want to know what they were thinking about at that moment.

Pictures are sometimes so personal that one's own connection to them transcends all rationale, objective evaluation of the image.
I saw this girl for perhaps 5 seconds on a busy street and her expression and concentration stays with me.

I kept all the bright, OOF shoulders in the picture because that reminds of the crowd. Yangon sidewalks in the market areas are like the NY subway in summer (except, of course, that in Yangon virtually everyone is Asian. Western women stand out like huge, pink fleshy beasts next to the slim brown Myanmar women.)

I really like this one. she looks totally oblivious to the people around here, focused on whatever it is she is thinking about. looks like it could be something important.
AND, its in color...so..bonus! also, in color works great for the print on her top.
