A few from the new lens

I'm still getting the hang of this. All of these were shot hand held with flash on hot shoe. Flash was set to high speed sync to allow for higher shutter speeds. I tweaked the exposures a bit and cropped, mostly for framing purposes but I did enlarge some of them. I know the shots of the Carpenter Bee aren't exactly tack sharp but the little guy didn't hold still for very long.

This happens to me all the time. I take it as a sign that I have nothing to learn as a photographer and I am perfect...that's just me though. To think it only took 4 months to become THE perfect photographer.

Yes, that was my conclusion as well. My shots are sooooo impressive that everyone was just too humbled by them to respond! Lol.

That's too bad, I look forward to hearing what you think of them. Just don't build them up too much in your mind between now and then. As I said, I'm still getting the hang of critter macro photography.
