A few Pink florals

[Joel_W]

Yesterday morning before the 95+ degree temps with outrageous humidity levels, and bright blue skies developed, it was overcast and in the mid 80's, so I took a quick trip to the Riverhead park looking for some nice floral opportunities. Here's 3 florals all in pink that caught my eye.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy.

Sam7771, thanks so much for the kind words.

These are great.

I would love to see #1 with more of a change in scale between the two flowers. I would love to see the flower on the left bigger and the one on the right a bit smaller. This might not have been possible because of were they were.

I like the shallow depth of field on #2.

Chriswtian, thanks for your positive insight. Those two flowers, and most of the flowers within that particular bed were about the same size, and color. I tried to use the composition and DOF to help differentiate between the two flowers.

It would have been cool to have both flowers in focus

Sam7771, I wanted the 2nd flower to be OOF and softer, so it became part of the background, pleasing to the viewers eyes, and at the same time helps to direct and focus the viewers eyes on the main flower.
