My personal thoughts are to be taken with a grain of salt and a shot of vodka as I'm definitely not the best photographer myself.

1 and 2...the guitarist looks like he's in pain, not enjoying an afternoon in the sun with his music. I realize the sun is bright, and thus leads to squinting. This isn't your photography, but his positioning. If he looked a little more relaxed, these 2 images would be better.

3 I really like. With the way the bars are, it draws the eye to the truck at the end. I'm not sure if this was your intention, but it's a neat shot anyway.

4 is pretty cool also. I really like the flag in the corner. If I had any say-so, I would recommend having the pic the way it is, except the flag - have the flag in color. It adds a little something extra that draws the eye. Just a thought.

5...I LOVE old-school planes and things. I have tried shooting close-ups of the King Air C90's props, and they NEVER turn out right. This is a very cool picture!

Is that it? I never get any feedback here... :-(

Like burdock said, I'm not a pro at this either but I'll pitch in my thoughts.

In the first one, I disagree with what burdock said. I think that it looks like he's concentrating on making music, not so much squinting in pain like photo 2.

I really like #4 a lot but maybe if you would have changed the perspective a little bit it would have been even more appealing. The boots are pointing to the right side of the image so I think I would have liked it on the left side to kind of draw your attention in and towards the flag a little bit. My favorite image out of the bunch, but for me at least, if it were from a different perspective it would have really pushed it over the edge.

Ok, I dont know what to think of #4 anymore. I just looked at it again and it also makes sense to have the boots where they are. Its like they have traveled that whole expanse on the left to end up where they are now.....That is a really good picture....made me look at it for a while ha.

In #2 he's on the wrong side. If you had put him on the left of the frame you wouldn't have cut off the end of the headstock, and it would have given him some "looking space". Rule of thumb is to put looking space in the direction they're looking, not behind them. Crop's a little crowded as well, not enough space above his head, and the bottom of the guitar is cut off. BG's not too great either.

Well, in another thread you expressed your disdain for commenting on ones artistry. You drew the line.
Reap what you sow?

I'll quote it if need be.

I disagree with ur artistry comment. I believe an artist is anyone who has a passion abt what they do. Who is one person to say that another is less of an artist than another. You can comment on the technicality of a photograph but when it comes to insulting someone's artistry that's where the line should b drawn.

I'll quote it myself. That comment also was not directed towards you in any means so I don't know why u are giving me a hard time about stuff....
