I had the opportunity to join a few other local photographers who were putting on a Milky Way workshop in Charleston, RI. I've never seen the Milky Way but this was on my bucket list and something I was excited to experience. Knowing that I have a crop sensor, I wasn't confident that I would get a usable image but I wanted to try anyway. The end result is better than I anticipated and next time I will take more images so that I can stack them to reduce some noise in post. Always looking to improve so CC is welcome.

New London Ledge Light is one of my favorite local lighthouses to shoot. Luckily for me it is only a few minutes down the street so when I saw the sky turning into pastels, I grabbed my gear and headed out to capture a serene and magical image. CC welcome.

While out shooting my son's portrait, we had a beautiful sunset and the setting was so peaceful. I had to grab an image before heading home. CC welcome.

the 2 image...very nice !!

Thank you everyone!

Man,that lighthouse looks like it’s just floating out there. So serene.

I sure do like the lighthouse picture. Beautifully composed and well-executed too. I seldom like long exposure water, but in this case, sign me up!

I agree, the second one is great. I really love clean images with one subject and lots of negative space. It's difficult to photograph, at least to me. I'd like to see a horizontal version as well :)

Good stuff! It’s not often I see photos posted here from my backyard!

Get that shot of Ledge Light printed nice and big...people around here will pay good money for it.
