I hope you don't mind an example. An example to show it's just damn hard to really show a stones brilliance in an image without cloning out the dark parks.

No problem w/ that Bitter.....I'm pretty sure I was way over my head playing around w/ taking that shot......=) I had fun trying and I will try again. I guess I need a light box to get a good shot.

It's a ring. Make a light "tent" out of paper and have some fun snapping a few more and see what you get!
