A little snow?

I'm supposed to drive to Newcastle today (roughly an hour from here in good weather). Probably shouldn't do it. But I'm possibly just crazy enough to try. Heavy snow is still falling, and visibility is about 200 yards

I had to venture out at 9 to get my Momma some supplies... got stuck twice. Been shovelling for over 2 hours, and have barely put a dent in it here. Im 6' tall, and the snow comes up past my knees, in the back yard.

Every time I work up the nerve to start shovelling, I hear the wind howl & change my mind. My dog thinks it's bliss... about a foot & a half of snow at the moment here in London. Almost makes me wish for snowshoes... almost.

Ummm, no. I just feel bad for my friend hosting a big party and lots of people are going to bail. It really is bad weather though.

Maybe I'll just hit the house party in the beaches then, rather than driving to Newcastle. Will check the traffic cams and decide.

Well, I took a calculated risk and set out for Newcastle at 5 p.m. when the snowfall was starting to subside. As you can tell, I made it back safely.
