I love this! We're so used to seeing the beautiful petals on the rose, but the stems are new and exciting. How refreshing.

I always found it amazing how something like a plant could evolve along side animals and adapt to grow thorns in protection. There is something really strange about something that has no brain can evolve. hmmmmmmmmm.

I like the colours and I think it would be even better if the bottom "sting" would be less dark...

Me too ! love that blue tone. I was watching a TV programme about the Chelsea Flower Show yesterday and I learnt that rose's thorns also help the plant to climb....never knew that previously.

Thanks all, the top two are untouched, the bottom two are darkened with use of gamma.

I like them all but you should put the bottom right one up alone with a "guess what this is." With a really tight crop it would look like apiece of modern sculputer. I has a metalic being about it somehow.
