A New Old Lens

As of last week, I got another worthy addition to my bag. A Nikon Non-AI 50mm f/1.4 manual focus lens (paid $45 for it). I took some railroad photos with it at f/8 and the sharpness is awesome!

Don't kill me for editing them, I am an HDR addict when it comes to hobby pics! I have the original unedited pics to share upon request also.










The following I took wide open. Sure it's a little soft, but I'm surprised I nailed manually focusing a moving train! 1/320 sec, ISO 400

I'm Trainwizard! But seriously, railroads are usually my favorite thing to photograph as a hobby. I test lenses and camera ability with them. I'll get to people and low light pics eventuallly.
