And finally the person who started me down the road of life with a camera body nearby. My father, at 74 he still has his trusty Minolta 7000 or his new Canon EOS Rebel XTi with him at all times. Taken last summer, sitting on a breakwall he used to take me fishing and photographing off of as a kid. His tripod has gone to a very small lightweight one that doesn't tire him out lugging it around, but the spark for photography is still there.

Well.. I got the camera almost exclusively to take better pics of my kid. Usually mom's do this but I guess dad's can too. I thought I was ready for it, but I quickly learned that more capabilities doesn't always mean better pictures. Anyway..
