He might as well be pretending for all I know, as I don't see any element that suggests he's doing it for real ... the mask he's wearing doesn't fit in with the idea I have of an operating theatre ... this doesn't mean the picture isn't OK technically ...

I don't get "surgeon" (no hairnet, eye splash protection, etc). I get maybe dental hygienist? (however I did not take into account your location so that probably explains differences in stereotypical expectations of what a surgeon looks like).

You must be very proud of him though. He looks intently focused.
