Sorry, this one isn't working for me. Crop is too close to the bottom. Face of the compass should be tack sharp. Reflection on the glass is kind'a odd. Lastly, it leaves me wanting something more. a map, a camera...something. Sorry to beat you up, but it's just not working for me.

^^^^ i was thinking the same thing before i opened the thread ... Compass on a map. Compass reading needs to be sharp and map OOF. Fix lighting so there are no reflections.

The current focus point seems to be the black ring sbove the compass and background make it the compass face and needle. Youll probably have to manually fucos it to prevent it from focusing on the glass! Single point focus too.

Not working for me. As Braineack said, the strong reflection on the compass and the fact that the background is the only thing in focus just seems... strange. IMO, those two things strongly detract from the image.

I'd opt for a quick re-shoot, and refocus your efforts on getting the compass within the depth of field.

Anyway the glowing is from a light bulb above the compass, what I'm trying to create is a "sunshine" above the compass
