Taken on Canon 7D and Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L MII

Taken a few months back at a showjumping/cross-country event (yes backlog is huge and monstrous!). Came out rather nice, and one of the better dressage photos I got (seriously dressage is super hard to get any good photos in - timing is critical!)

As always any comments/critiques are most welcome.

omg. that shot is so great it hurts.
my mother taught dressage. I remember going to a lot of horse shows.
the only way it might have been better is if one of the horses front legs were up.

beautiful. I might consider darkening the bg a lot and make the horse pop a bit more - unsharp mask / clarity.

Absolutely nailed the exposure! An image the horse's human would be pleased to have I'm sure. I would suggest leveling and maybe cropping just a bit off the bottom to eliminate that little bit of foreleg.

Great many thanks all!

Cropping some off the bottom would help hide the horrible bit of cloning I did to remove a white blotch from the lower background (I think it was a car).

Dashur - I actually already did some of that, nice to hear that I've no taken it too far and that there's potential to take it a little further!
