Hi,

I met this guy whilst out taking portraits in Bristol. He approached me asking for money. As ever, he insisted that he was not a user, and could prove it by the condiiton of his teeth. It's always tricky in these situations as addicts have a tendency to deceive to score their next hit. So I bought him a coffee.

Outstanding portrait.

A few of your older threads were listed at the bottom of the page in the "similar threads" box, and I took a look at a couple from 8 years ago. Sure enough, I made comments in those threads and offered some criticism. What's interesting to me is that now eight years later when I look at those images, I wouldn't change a thing about those shots. It's funny how as we keep working on this craft that our tastes and sensibilities change. What hasn't changed however is that you are still making exceptional street portraits.

Hi Dan, thanks for the kind comments. You're right, it is strange how taste changes. I was reviewing some of my previous work and for a moment considered updating it to suit my preferences now. I quickly thought better of it as that is a rabbit hole I have no desire to disappear down!
