A sunset with some powerlines

It looks a bit oversaturated for me, just personal preference. ;) But this composition is very strong. I usually have little use for powerlines in an image, but here, they shape the image. Great eye!

I'm with terri here in so far as this - for once - is putting otherwise distracting powerlines to some good use! They clearly determine the composition of this photo, and in a pleasing way.
And the sunset was a spectacular one. WOW.

I see what you mean, but that's straight from the camera, with just a little darkening of the levels to black out the ground. Who needs Kodak Ultra-color? :lol:
 
Power lines always reminder me of weeds...something that shouldn't be there. I can see how they may help frame the picture...no, it's a bad frame on a beautiful picture to me. I would prefer to see a farm or harvested cornfields in the foreground. Sorry..
