Composition on 1 is fine with me, except for the expression, but you know already. Composition on 2, not for me with the chopped parts. Light seems a little bit flat on both but nothing terrible, I believe.

pretty much what they said. I like the pose in #2 except for the cropping of limbs. #1, besides what Ron said, would be better without the hand in front of the face.
