A trio of pics for C&C!

Ok, these are my trying the tripod for the first time, and really dont find them much interesting, but I guess Im putting them up for harsh critique...see what went wrong.


I know...overexposed moon. Not even upping up the iso to its highest(D5000) could I solve this.

This one... I like, but there's too much compositional pollution.

I really like #3. I like the composition of it. It makes me feel like a bug walking along that wall.

Here's my question, why are you shooting them at iso 500? When I shoot night shots, I'm at iso 100-200 TOPS.

Upping it in which way? Lower Iso is better in night shots.

I know, but I wanted a faster shutter speed to try and see if the moon looked normal. And also that I sometimes forget at what number I have the iso.

And the 3rd one... I actually took it one of the first days after buying the camera, so I still didnt know for sure what I was doing. But there's something about it... that people tend to like it.
