its good to see your work here! I love those photos, I think they are great abstract themes. I love the use of black and white with dashes of colour. Quite striking indeed!

I love that tree! I love the angle! I love the colour and the simplicity!
Why is the ribbon on the tree? What kind of tree is it?

I find the large metal thing??? very intreging? It has so much depth and the background in b&w has so little it reallt sets up th compositon well and stops your eye before you are drawn to far into the photo and bring you back to the subject!

Thanks for taking the time to look at my piccies

The tree is a Eucalypt (gum tree) though don't quote me as i haven't finished Botany 101 yet.
The actual picture is titled "marked for death". It is in the forest across from my house and all the trees with pink ribbons are the ones to be knocked down to allow for urban growth. That's why i thought i'd do the tree in B&W and the ribbon left in colour through some photoshop fiddling.
