You've got good depth in #1 from the aerial perspective, but I'm drawn to the dark blob which is prominent. What is it? And without it, there isn't much rhyme or reason to the scene. Too many elements in my opinion... the reflection off the forground? The background trees? The grass? Nothing really stands out other than the unidentfiable blob. What did you want us to see? Exactly what caught your eye?

The same with #2 except you limited focus to the foreground which again is just a dark blob... I don't know what it is. The pattern created by the hay/grass/whatever that is is interesting, but it's out of focus so surely you didn't want attention drawn to it?

In looking at #1, there would need to be some interest in the foreground to balance the shot overall. Keep going though...

I like #1 - it's one of those shots that makes me think "I wish I was there right now!" But, in addition to what GeorgieGirl said, the tree line is not quite level, and the sky is too bright, unless that's the look you wanted.
I notice that you could have used an aperture 3 stops smaller, around f/11, with a shutter speed of about 1/120 (approx.) to get a deeper depth-of-field. Then maybe the distant trees could be in better focus.
