Didn't you mention having 6 years of Photoshop experience? Make 2 exposures: 1 for your subject, one for the sky, then merge the 2.

Yeah, I just don't really like to, (or think about) applying my skills there to my photography =p

I need to read on up post-processing. Find out what's best to do, what not to do, what's too much, etc etc etc.
But yeah, haha. Totally didn't even think about just Photoshopping the sky.
