About to simplify my life and need advice on selling gear

I do kijiji, just sold my Panasonic system, everything went through kijiji, the trade quote I got from B and H, Adorama and KEH were insulting and I got most of my money back when I sold it on kijiji.

kijiji seems to be specific to Canada...

I think what I will do is get a quote for all the gear (mostly m4/3 and then try to see it as a bundle on the M4/3 forum)
The gear is all lovely with original boxes and paperwork.
I have less time than money and I want to minimize hassle (my life is pretty full up on that right now.)

Can you post what m4/3 gear you are getting rid of? Depending o what it is I may be interested.
I second this, as I may be interested, as well.

Oh no, a bidding war! :P

I have used KEH to buy and sell used equipment. Their ratings are accurate. Yes, selling to them they to take quite a cut from actual value. But you have to remember they need to sell the gear to stay in business. Same goes with Adorama and B&H. Yes, they profit on new gear. But there is an expense and cost to buy used gear, store it, list / advertise it, and then sell it. So, no you will not get full value from them on selling / trading to them. Just like used cars, if you need highest price and have the time. Sell the gear person to person. Be wary of scam artists though. If you don't have time and are willing to take a loss (of perceived value) then selling / trading to the big NY 2, and KEH is a good way to go. There is no full price / sell fast option, unless it's rare gear.

Be wary of Craigs List! YOU WILL get scammers. Just have to weed them out. Ebay there are more protections, but it's not fool proof. Can still get scammed. Record everything (model # and serial # of everything). Not tried Amazon for selling.

I have a solution.

I have a good friend who is interested in photography. I will be lending him my Oly EP-3 to play with to see if he enjoys it and, if he does, will offer to sell him my m4/3 kit at the trade-in price offered. Until he decides I will keep my m4/3 as a walkaround. If he thinks not, I'll sell the m4/3 kit them along at the A7II body.

I already bought the Sony A7 R II and a Batis 85 to go with the A7 II, Zaiss 55 and Sony 24-70 I already have. Should be delivered tomorrow.

Complex dance but it will work, I think.

Went out shooting with new camera and lens.
Years ago I upgraded from a D200 to a D700 and bought the Nikon 24-70 and 70-200 and was just enthralled by the beauty of the images.
I had that same experience today when I took out the new Sony A7r II and shot a bit with the Zeiss 85 1.8

Please look at this shot above as a picture and then look at the clarity and detail of the color version and the 100% crop

this could be sharpened more and may/will do that for a print but here - not necessary
