Abstract Christmas Lights

Christmas lights.

I was in the back of the truck, and I dint have a tripod with me, so I figured I would try to get what I could, and these turned into more abstract than anything, hehe. After a while of not getting any good clear pics I moved the camera on purpose during the longer exposure to see what effects I could get, hehe.

Thanks for the compliments, I think Ill try this again and see how much more creative I can get with it, hehe. :0). Maybe if I can do it fast enough I can get it to spell my name out. *Smirks*

Great pics! I did close to the same thing last night. I left my tripod at work. On the way to get it I snapped a shot of the neighbor's house. I am thinking that if I used a tripod it would of not been as interesting.

I could post it here, let me know.I just adore christmas lights. I wonder if Jesus had them on his house?

I somewhat doubt he had lights on his house, since there was no electricity back then, not any that man could control *lightning*. :0). And besides, I dont think he lived in one spot very long, cept for at his parents house. To busy to live on one spot cuz of preaching and teaching about God. :0).

Although if he did, im sure his house would be much prettier than the griswolds house on national lammpoons. :0) I acutally seen a house that was done up more than the griswolds, really shoulda brought a tripod, but we were crampt in the truck and didnt really have much space as it was, hehe.

Those answers make sense. I should do a search. "origins of christmas lights". I visited friends near Bethlehem PA one christmas. They told me that it was written into the town ordinances that no one could have colored christmas lights, being the town of Bethlehem and all. Wether it is true or not is a different story. I certainly did not see any.
