I went to the local high school to shoot a weight lifting tournament this weekend, and at first thought this was a ruined shot, but then I started kinda liking it. :D

I am having a little bit of trouble enjoying this one -

i love the fact you did a time exposure on this but for some reason i really keep wishing i could see his face in this. There is a lot of energy and colour here, but i am not quite sure where its going  sorry if that is not too helpful.

Did you have any other shots you took from this? do you remember your settings?

Nah...you were right first time!
(Just kidding)

LOL yeah okay, so maybe it IS a ruined shot. I just kind of liked how the entire body was in motion, and the weights were almost frozen with his hands around the bar. ::shrug:: I wish the guys in the back would've been clear. Then it might've had a bit more purpose.

Here's another from the same shoot, a bit more 'traditional'. (btw, it's the same lifter as in the 'abstract' one.)

Sorry to say the first thing i thought of was take away all the people and weights and add a toilet seat  c'mon paints a funny image.
