I really quite much like the first.
The second does not tell me as much.
We have a theme thread somewhere in the Photo Themes on Zoomers and Shakers where there are (hopefully) a good collection of pics of this kind. ("Hopefully" because the Themes keep their thread forever, but some members who posted their photos a long time ago have meanwhile taken them off their picture host sites).

i did not know that the thread was around...ill try and find it...and the first one is my favorite as well....

i forgot to post it earlier but these are pictures of traffic at night...
the first is a semi truck and the second is the white road lines and a car tailight
