Academy Museum Detail

The largest part of this new museum is a huge sphere. This is attached (?) to it at one spot. The museum, a project of the Motion Picture Academy, has not yet opened because of the Covid situation.
It should be a cool place to see classic science fiction movies.

Ok cool! Well I see squares..an interesting series of squares inside squares, etc. not hard to see the theme here. You didn’t specify if this is an art installation, but I assume that it is. Unlikely this serves any other purpose than to be art, but you never know. Either way, very interesting. I’d shoot it straight on, and center it. I’d also come back when the light was different and get rid of that distracting shadow at the top. Or you could always cheat and photoshop it. But that al ways feels like.....cheating

That’s part of the construction of a huge spherical building. The museum will be the home of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, the folks who bring you the Oscars. The Petersen Museum. A block away, is an auto museum, where I’ve seen the car Thelma and Louise went off the cliff in, Herbie the Love Bug, and many versions of the Batmobile. It’s L.A.!,

That's a much different building when the whole structure can be seen. It sounds like it is in an awesome location.

Wow! Nice shot and interesting building! I would hope to see some “Mystery Science Theater 3000" in there.
