So, pros, long time shooters, etc... What are the little things you keep in your camera bag that you almost never leave without?

Like extra memory cards, cleaning stuff, etc...

Specific items!

Trying to put together a "misc essentials" wish list and not sure else should be in there.

So far I has: Extra memory cards (CF); I currently only have 1 , lens cleaning kit (this one) some lens cleaning tissues, and right now that's about it...

What else would you add? Sensor cleaning kit (really necessary?)? Anything else?

Cameras, grips, lenses, extension tubes, teleconverters, speedlights, extra strap, shoulder sling, extra batteries, extra memory cards, filters, filter step-up rings, gray cards, off-camera flash cord, bounce card, flash gels, wireless remote, sunblock (clipped on the outside of my bag), bungee balls, probably some other stuff I don't remember.

Memory card case, tripod quick releases, light meter, synch cords, focus rails, LED headlight (for shooting at night), lens brush, spare batteries all around (not just for camera... AAs, AAs, CR2s, etc.), flash stand, straps, white-balance filter, filter wrenches.

And that's just for shooting in the field. Studio work has it's own list of trinkets. Then there's the computer at the desk.

Currently in my bag (besides camera, lenses, flash and extension tubes):
--Extra memory cards
--Extra batteries for flash, remote, triggers and camera
--Wireless remote
--Wireless flash triggers
--Notepad and pencil
--These: Amazon.com: Nite Ize GT3-4PK-A1 Gear Tie Reusable 3-Inch Rubber Twist Tie, 4-Pack, Assorted Colors: Home Improvement in several different lengths
--Large black garbage bag (mostly used as a kneeling surface when the ground is wet)
--Small trash bag (used mostly to carry out trash that stupid, thoughtless two-legged pigs leave behind)
--Better beamer

EDIT: Oh, sparky's post reminded me--I do also have a LED headlight, which for some reason I didn't take to Atlanta with me, so it wasn't currently in my bag. And a pack of Rosco Strobist Collection correction filters (gels, kinda) that I have yet to actually figure out quite what to do with. They came with something else I bought used on Ebay.

Band-aids, aspirin, Leatherman, measuring-tape, LED head-light, level, compass, 2' square of water-proof, rip-stop nylon, 10' of para-cord

I carry stuff that's already been mentioned plus a waterproof zip-lock baggie with manuals and batteries for every camera I would normally be carrying out on a shoot.
And an extra dark slide for the Bronica. I've never lost one yet but I'm bound to do it someday.

I count extra batteries and memory cards as essential gear...not extra stuff.

My extra stuff usually includes things like a small tripod, umbrella, money, pens, leatherman, extra tripod QR plate, wired and wireless shutter release, flash trigger set, several cables for any of the triggers and lights I'll have with me.

When I'm shooting a wedding, the list is much longer. Everything from extra clothes to needle & thread, lots of over-the-counter drugs, water, food etc.

I pretty much just jam the camera in there, these days. Well, more often than not I jam a camera on the tripod and just take that assembly, when I am going out to shoot.

If something stops working, fate apparently doesn't think I should be taking pictures that day. I am OK with that.

Nice to see I'm not the only one with odd balls in my camera bag. ( grin) so extras. ..leather man, wireless remote, zyertec & tissues no one wants a watery sneezing mess for a photographer, anti bacterial hand stuff, stash of business cards so I know I have them. That doesn't include anything I may need for a wedding.
