Across the Bay

A shot I took a couple of days ago on a quick trip I made back to the UK. The view is one of Morecambe Bay looking towards the Lake District from a point near to Fleetwood Pier. Nothing was done to it other than reducing the size of the image and cropping a dull bit off the bottom edge. I rather liked the pastel colours.

The evening I took this, I ended up reeling off 56 images in total and apart from the "Room That Time Forgot" that's in the General Gallery at the moment, this was the only one that ended up looking even remotely like I'd envisaged it. I know the image quality goes down when you reduce the size, but I was quite surprised when I looked at the original at "actual pixels" size at how much detail there is in it. Perhaps time I looked in a little more detail at the technicalities of what I'm doing out of the camera.
