Welcome to the forum. Just for future reference, only post 3-5 photos for c&c. Honestly, this isn't a bad set, the thing that I see is in #5 & 6 she has a tree growing out of her head.

oops, my bad. just edited post! thank you!

A nice set; I don't think removing the vignette would hurt any of them. I wish you'd knocked the background down a couple of stops in #2; it's a bit too bright and pulling my eye from her face. Also, watch your use of leading lines. The fence rails here are taking the eye right past her to a point in the background.

thank you for the feedback! and good point on the lines. didn't even consider that until you mentioned it. thanks again!

My eye's aren't going anywhere different :P but maybe that's because she is a cute girl! Isn't it weird how we all perceive images differently.

Nice DOF control, the exposures are good and the girl is very pretty.

Overall, I think that most of them have too much dead/negative space. All but one are in a horizontal orientation and I think that most of those would be better as vertical. The one that is already vertical, has too much space above her head.

Lovely lighting and exposure control! While I'm a fan of the DOF control here, but I wish you had cropped/shot closer to her in many of these. As Mike said above, I feel like a few of these have too much negative space.

Cheers!

Jake

Thanks for your feedback! No worries, I do have many "tighter" shots, vertical shots among the bunch, but wanted to display the ones that I felt were more visually interesting. I do agree that I should have cropped the one vertical one here tighter, and will go back and re-crop it :)

Looks good. That's the trend nowadays. The full body one, the background is slightly distracting. Need more blur or place the head farther from the dark sign.

Yepp, these were all taken in natural light during the "golden hour". gotta love it!

I like 3 and 5. The location compliments her appearance and I enjoy the composition/pose in both. As others have said, in 5 she is a tree unicorn, but I dont think thats a killer. Welcome to TPF!

haha! tree unicorn...that's a first! thanks for the feedback, I'm glad to be here! :)
