If that is what I choose to do. Since there has already been a $hitload of threads with Lightroom as the topic that you could've easily searched for, I highly doubt that I will.

The main benefit to you would be gaining an image database management application, you already have the edit rendering engine.

Lightroom was designed by Adobe for working photographers that take more than 1000 images a week, week-in-week-out The database management provides quicker image retreival than Bridge, and can help them maximizing their income from their image database.
