Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello all;

As I'm using my iPhone 17 Pro Max more and more for photography and video, I'm becoming less and less enchanted with the currently available 'free' mobile storage apps. I'm currently using Amazon Photos for cloud storage and Adobe Lightroom Cloud for iPhone editing/processing.

Amazon simply doesn't do what I'd like to do as far as organization and as it's 'free,' I suppose I shouldn't com[lain too much. Clearly, it's a case of 'you get what you par,' at least to a point.

What I'd like to do is store my images in Albums; I don't use keywords and the like, but organize the by date, location, subject, etc. I don't need to see everything I've shot when opening the app, such as I have with the free iPhotos app. Nor am I interested in 'highlights on this date,' 'memories,' or things like that - and I can't find a way to turn these off in Amazon Photos.

I'm considering using Lightroom Cloud for these purposes, at least until I find something better. I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for an app either, provided it does most of what I'm after. And I readily admit I may be searching for a Unicorn of an app to which I can bend to my will, but hey - nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Any and all suggestions are welcome...thanks!

Have you tried the Photos app that came with your iPhone? I find it works well for creating albums, and the search function is pretty good.
I used the app on the iPhone for many years. And, I agree; the Albums and Search functions are quite good. However, the main thing I really don't like about the app is how it opens with the photos Library always front and center. If there was a way to manage the Library portion of the app, say an option to have the app open with the Albums page and not the Library, I would find it immensely more useful. I've not found a way to do this.

It is an option of course, so I am keeping it on the back-burner.

Thanks!
