Ads, Ads Everywhere

Does anyone else have a "From around the web" box of ads at the bottom of every thread? I know that the forum needs a way to pay for itself and whatnot, but...

I was just wondering if maybe it's my browser.

I agree, the ad placements are terrible and I didn't know there was so many ads on this forum because of adblocker. But I noticed them on the mobile version which is even worse. I understand that they have them to support the forum..but I wish they didn't place them inside of threads. I really love this forum though and I'm not going to leave because of it. I guess we'll just have to live with them and hopefully someday they do something about the obsessive ads.

Hmmm, I only see one ad at the top of the thread and it's not intrusive, nothing inside the threads or at the bottom either. I have not noticed anything annoying other than that ad that makes you think you have a new PM. I use laptop tablet and phone all with Google Chrome with ad blocker and Webroot.

I don't see that, but then again, not sure if it's because I'm a supporting member? I don't recall seeing that when I wasn't a supporting member. I probably wouldn't have continued using TPF if I saw that on every post...

I think you are right, I was viewing it in a incognito mode.

I use Chrome as well. But I think it was just because I wasn't signed in.

Never saw it. Again, I use Firefox with adblock plus installed.
