I use Chrome with adblocker plus and I don't see any ads whatsoever.

Are you seeing all the in thread ads even when you are signed in? A few months ago I had an issue with my iPad where it would not keep me logged in for more than a few minutes. Every time I wanted to post I would have to log in and every time I refreshed it would log me out. That is when I noticed the ads in thread but since I switched to my Samsung tablet I have not had the log in issue or the ad issue which seem to be a result of not being logged in.

I think "Supporting Members" may get a break from the ads, but I'm not for sure on that. I had always used AdBlock Plus anyway, but that alone misses "some" of the more "scripted" ads. For those you also need NoScript.
