I was working in a pub and watched it all unfold with the surreal surrounding of day-time alcoholics.

I was drinking a magnum of Krug on the beach in Brighton and generally giving it very large indeed.

I was in my flat, watching TV at 4.30am. Stayed up to watch it. Seem to recall crying, even though I didn't care... think everyone had that reaction.

Had just gone to University, don't think this made much of an impact on us.

Again, less fuss in the UK about this. It made quite a lot of news with the updates on the trial.

We'd just about finished with the IRA bombing London, so it didn't really make a big impact on me.
