what a handsome young man! I love talking to people older than me (although it's getting harder and harder to find them )... their lives fascinate me.

My all time fave pasttime is to sit and get him talking ... he will tell things about his childhood and the games they used to play ... just a stick and some dirt ... and he'll tell about falling in love with our grandmother ... at the age of 10 and how they'd often be the only two in the classroom with the teacher and he also took me through the woods when I was younger and showed me the steps of the old school house that are still standing.

He worked for the county road crew forever and whenever there is a traffic problem, he can still recall the quickest way through the back roads to get home.

He's a hoot.

I remember seeing the second plane crash on television and the commentators believed it was a piece of the original building 'falling off'. (The camera angle was bad and it wasn't obvious that it was indeed the second building)
