Saw this girl sitting with her friends and playing on a railway track .

i quite liked the backligting in her hair.

what do you guys think of it

Too much space over the top. Crop off most if not all the blue.
Trim a little off the bottom as well to get rid of the stones just coming in.
It will tighten things up a little.
Nice image.

As always, a closer crop and more focus on the subject could help you here. Ive said it once and I am sure I will 1000 times again, if possible when shooting MOVE CLOSER! I'm the detail freak, I like seeing every imperfection (or perfection) in the face of a subject. Nice shot all things aside though.

Incorrect metering. You needed a spot/center metering because the subject is too dark.

I agree with the crop but think overall it's a nice image. You have some WILD bokeh going on back there.

i agree entirely about the crop, too much space above, and i think a fillflash might have helped with the subjects face, like the backlighting in her hair though.
