You should try standing behind it some time... been there and done that with a C-5 making a turn at Rhein-Main AB...

Ive worked on the flight line at Boeing Wichita, back in the 90s, so I've been behind a lot of commercial aircraft and military aircraft....I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning!

Burning JP-4 is one of the best modern smells in my opinion. I was a crew chief on C-141 and C-5 aircraft.

'Castrol R' is another of those delicious smells... (Classic racing motorbikes).

Took the 500PF to the airport, I couldn't get far enough back to get the whole airplane (and according to Google, I was over 450 yards from this plane) ....not a problem I've encountered before....looks like the 70-300 will be my ICT airport lens....
