Whoa, awesome shooting Andy. You really have the eye for when to click the shutter (the word 'compose' seems inaccurate, as these planes are whipping by at such high speed). Nicely done.

2. the fact that you get to go to airshows and didn't invite me.
3. your lense, and again the skill you have to use such a lens.

very little cropping if any on those shots, had a 300mm 2.8 + 2x extender

true but after you have taken a few hundred you do start to think about composure, at an airshow you can start tracking about 5 or 6 seconds before you take the shot so you have a bit of time to think about the shot
