In fact, i am thinking to sell my 70-200 so badly to get the newer version, maybe then i will use 70-200 more, but i swapped 300 on 1D2n and 70-200 on 1D3, out of many experiments, the best overall quality i found was from 1D3 with 300mm.

I think these are, in general, quite terrific - good sharpness, color and dof.
I do think that several could be cropped for more impact but that is a minor nit.

A very, very nice series, imo.

I got that comment about cropping more tighter for some shots on another site[forum], and i replied that all these are cropped and i am worry to crop more and lose quality and ISO maybe will be more noticeable, also the sharpness were not that great, because they are on small size you can't see, so if i crop more then it will be more soft, not sure if it is OOF or sharpness are less with the gear.
