Do you know when kids get out of school up there? I'm thinking of cruising around there (early/mid June) for a bit in your parks and camping and would like to avoid screaming kids if possible.

I would assume it's the same as every where else in North America. June 30th?

That's right. K through grade 12 are in till the end of June and college/university are done in May.

I've been to the mountain parks plenty of times in the summer...and I've never found kids to be much of an annoyance. It's the tourists

I figured you would...

Some of the locations can get overrun at certain times of the year. The town of Banff is especially crowded. Jasper can be a little crowded at times...but it's not nearly as commercial as Banff. The bigger, more commercial attractions are nice to visit...like the hot-springs...but if you want to avoid the crowds, stay away from those kinds of places and visit some more obscure locations.
