Here are a few shots of Alcatraz I took a while back. Please let me know what you think.

Really like that last one especially. Deeply invokes the feelings the inmates must've had of being so close to freedom, yet so far away. Good stuff. Makes me really miss living in the Bay Area.

I too like the last one. I was just there at Christmas and visited also, perhaps we can start an Alcatraz thread here. I love the framing of the bridge, gives the feeling of loss, doesn't it?

you can start a thread in themes section (I would keep it more general like 'prisons') or just post them here at the end We are pretty easy here at the photoforum!
